If you have a case containing an allegation of a defect against a particular motor vehicle, it may be worth your while to obtain the VIN number of the offending vehicle. Once obtained, go to google.com, enter the VIN number in the search line, and Google will give you a link to obtain the carfax.com report for that particular vehicle.
