A new way to research books . . . . A9.com

Let's say at trial, a physician is relying on a particular treatise. Prior to (or at) trial, run the book title and/or the name of the author through the www.a9.com search engine and find not only other books by the author but also related book and web sites about either the book or the author.

Whatever happened to witness prep? . . .

Now it seems to be about witness casting. From the strange but true files, check out the web site of www.lawactors.com. If you need a witness for a mock trial, they'll be there. Of course, I always thought the point of a mock trial was to have your witnesses there, not actors.

Start (and probably end) your search at the web site of the NYS State Liquor Authority, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control. At the search page, you can search by "premises or trade name," "license number," "premises location," or "name of principal."
