You can search disciplinary and/or criminal information about a physician (NYS Health Dept.) or chiropractor (NYS Education Dept.) on the web. If a medical expert has been the subject of a departmental investigation, they often becomes the focus of an article 78 proceeding and should be followed up with traditional searches on Lexis or Westlaw.
